Week 2! 8/28-9/1

Thank you to all the parents that came to Curriculum Night on Thursday. It was nice meeting new faces and seeing parents I have already met! If you were unable to come, all the papers were sent home in your child’s folder today.

Math:

We will be finishing up the launching unit in math (Chapter 1) and starting Chapter 2: Number bonds next week. We are working on understanding the routines and how to use the math manipulatives as tools to help us solve problems.

Literacy:

Next week we are going to become experts on how to use Raz Kids and Spelling City. We are going to learn about Literacy Studio and how it works in the Weiner Dog classroom. We will also start We Make Books on Tuesday!

Social Studies:

We are still working on understanding our role within the community!
