Week #5: 9/18-9/22

We met our 3rd Grade Buddies this week! We did partner interviews and got a chance to get to know our buddies. Check Seesaw for pictures!

Reading: We are learning how to navigate Literacy Studio. We introduced Schema and will continue working on that next week.

Math: We are finishing up Number Bonds next week and will take the Chapter 2 Post Assessment.

Writing: We are wrapping up “We Make Books” and plan to start brainstorming ideas for our "Small Moment" unit.

Science: We started Science this week and practiced using our 5 senses through sensory stations:

Hear: different kinds of Slinkys

See: observed shells and rocks with magnifying glasses

Touch: We had to guess what was inside the bag

Smell: we drew pictures using smelly markers

We also went outside and used our 5 senses and recorded what we did! Next week we will start learning about the sky. Look for our first homework assignment about Day and Night next Tuesday!
